See the connections.
Know the next step.

Hydration, grinding and calcium carbonate production bring their own operating and product-quality questions. We connect the process, equipment and maintenance decisions with the specification you need to meet, whether you are planning a plant, expanding capacity or improving an existing operation.

What we cover.

Where we can help.

A defined scope, shaped around the decisions you need to make.

Project advisory & plant planning

Feasibility and concept studies, plant-design validation and vendor-neutral equipment selection for hydration and calcium carbonate projects.

Commissioning & rehabilitation

Installation supervision, performance testing, start-up and ramp-up support, including the modernisation and restart of existing hydration plants.

Process & product-quality review

Production planning, process control and a structured review of capacity, product specification and off-spec material.

Grinding, drying & classification

Review of mills, dryers, separators and classifiers, considering energy use, equipment condition and product requirements together.

Maintenance & operating capability

Equipment audits, preventive and predictive maintenance, turnaround planning, operator training and SOP development.

Tendering & procurement support

Bid documents, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and procurement planning around the agreed process and plant requirements.

Where we look.

Hydration performance

Hydration plant condition, process control and consistent product specification.

Grinding & drying

Mills, dryers, separators and classifiers, with attention to power use and product quality.

Calcium carbonate operations

PCC and ACC process equipment, utilities and the connections between production stages.

Reliability & yield

Maintenance priorities, root-cause analysis, uptime and off-spec production.

We review capacity, power use, uptime and quality together, then agree priorities around the plant and the product you need to deliver.

Technology experience.

Experience gained in plant operation. We are independent of equipment suppliers.

Hydration plants
Cimprogetti, Maerz and SIC systems
Grinding and drying
Ball mills, micronisers, Raymond mills, flash and spin-flash dryers
Calcium carbonate

Selected experience.

Experience of our founding team. Plant and client names withheld.

Hydration expansion, Oman (2020–2025)

Installation and start-up of a 360 TPD hydration plant and modernisation of a 240 TPD hydration plant.

Integrated plant operations, Abu Dhabi (2018–2019)

Operation of a 360 TPD hydration plant and grinding lines for quicklime and slag within an integrated lime complex.

Greenfield plant, India (2007–2008)

Installation and commissioning of a 70 TPD (25,000 t/year) calcium carbonate plant, from civil works to handover.

PCC and ACC operations, India (2008–2018)

Operation and expansion of 150–200 TPD plants with three lime kilns, including kiln, boiler and mill projects.

How to start.

  1. Define the product and the decision

Share the product, project stage, available plant information and the operating or investment question.

  2. Review the plant and the gaps

Assess process, equipment, quality and reliability information, with a site review where relevant.

  3. Agree a practical roadmap

Prioritise improvements and define any implementation, commissioning or ramp-up support.

Is this the right
conversation for you?

You are planning a hydration or calcium carbonate plant, or expanding an existing line.

Product consistency, grinding performance or reliability needs a structured review.

A plant restart or modernisation needs a clear technical and implementation plan.
